... which I rather think might cover everyone I know one way or another (you know, how every food goes with chocolate or bacon?). Anyway, coming conveniently just before my birthday (and I will tell you right now this is NOT a photoshop job):

Yes. It is real. And it is severely awesome.

Sal's response? Not unexpected, really. He said "I say, would you care to take a turn about the room? But of course!" and proceeded to shuffle around our living room growling "BRAAAAAAINS...."

H/T to [info]dottygale and [info]poeghostal, my sources for all things zombified!

oh the pretty art, it makes my eyes so happy!

first, this "women of DC" poster made its appearance at new york comicon and though it spawned a few "is this sexist" discussions, the general consensus among fangirls seems to be *drool*

further, comic book resource reports that dark horse plans to release a buffy-themed tarot deck in august. now, okay. that probably sounds kind of lame. but first of all (and it occurs to me i havent really mentioned this) i've been learning to read tarot DISCLAIMER: no, not in any sort of serious, predicting-the-future/guiding-my-actions/the-cards-have-power type of way, more in the way that reading the symbols on the cards and how they relate to each other and more importantly how my brain wants to interpret them is really interesting in a self-reflective kind of way. second, the art on the buffy deck is faithful to the traditional rider-waite deck. third, the art is gorgeous. seriously, start here and click "next"-- there are four sample cards in all.
